After three weeks using this phone holder its taken over as my favorite one. Unlike my previous favorite which had to be semi-permentantly mounted to one location, this phone holder uses a clamp to stay in place making it portable so long as there is a ledge for the clamp to grab. Given the generous range of the clamp your options for where you can place this holder are vast.As for the gooseneck, I found it to be a great combination of sturdy but flexible. Once I set the shape of the neck it didn't warp downwards after I mounted the weight of an Iphone 12 pro max to its magnetic holder. Speaking of the magnetic holder, I've had zero issues with my phone loosing traction and falling off. I have a thin mag ring mounted to the back of my phone case for reference.Another feature about the magnetic holder I really appreciate is that is can be angled up and down or side to side independent of the main arm so you have some fine-tuning capabilities without having to adjust the whole arm.
